When Is the Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raids Event Coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
The Shiny Rayquaza Tera Raid event will be held between Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 4:00 PM PST and Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 3:59 PM PST. During this period, you can find the Legendary Pokemon in 5-star Tera Raids, making it a limited-time event.
To prepare for this special encounter, a three-part Tera Raid Battle event series will occur from November 28 to December 19, 2024. These events will feature Pokemon that can aid in defeating Shiny Rayquaza.
Location of Shiny Rayquaza
Shiny Rayquaza will appear at Tera Raid crystals scattered across the Paldea region. Additionally, it will have Dragon as its Tera Type. Since the event is time-limited, the Shiny Rayquaza can only be caught once per save file. However, after capturing it, you can still participate in battles to earn other rewards.
A simultaneous Mass Outbreak event will also take place, featuring black Shiny Pokemon such as Fraxure, Carbink, and Cetoddle. This celebration adds more variety and excitement to the event window.
