Dragon Quest 3 Remake doesn’t readily give you the Auroral Armor. We are here to ease your experience in getting this robust armor.
The Auroral Armor is one of the most powerful gears in Dragon Quest 3 Remake. Its robust stats explain why it is not easy to obtain in the wild. Since the game doesn’t directly tell you where to look, we’d like to help you out a little.
It is located in the Tower of Rubiss. So, one of the prerequisites here is that you must have beaten Baramos. He is a formidable foe who might even make you restart the fight over and over again because it can take a while before you adapt to his strategies.
This armor protects you against fire and ice attacks while also giving you a major defense rating. If this wasn’t enough of a reason to get it, you would be surprised to know that it also heals you while exploring.
Once you have defeated Baramos and have entered the World of Darkness in Alefgard, you are ready to head to the northern side of the map. Use a boat to get to the Rubiss Tower and you’re almost halfway done.
Obtaining the Auroral Armor in Dragon Quest 3 Remake
Reaching your treasure is fairly simple. Use the staircase to climb up to the fourth floor and enter the gray building. Now, the only work that you need to do is carefully walk on the floor here. Don’t rush into things.
The tiles here rotate your movement 90 degrees either clockwise or counter-clockwise. It all depends on where the colored arrows are facing. Next, we suggest that you use your D-pad if you’re playing with a controller to remain in full control of the movement.
When you reach the chest carefully, you can loot the Auroral Armor inside. Paired with other pieces of gear like the Auroral Helm, you can be a force to meddle with. However, note that these two things can only be worn by the Hero Archetype.
