Stalker 2’s ‘Piece of Cake’ side mission sends you to a dangerous cave guarded by a Bloodsucker in search of the Mold Artifact.
The ‘Piece of Cake’ quest in Stalker 2 is a side mission that is unlocked by choosing to help Quin in the ‘Needle in a Haystack’ mission. In this mission, the Ward hunts for Quint as he tries to escape the Lesser Zone. Quint had attacked the faction’s men and is now on the run. He requires an artifact to follow through with his escape plan and needs your help to retrieve it. The mission sends you on a fetch quest in a cave in search of an artifact.
In this guide, we shall go over the ‘Piece of Cake’ quest in Stalker 2, and how to start and complete it.
How To Start Piece of Cake
You start the ‘Piece of Cake’ side mission by opting to help Quint in the ‘Needle in the Haystack’ main story mission. Quint is holed up in a mill in the Farmstead east of Zalissya. The stalker is wanted by the Ward for attacking their men and stealing their Ward sensor.
Now, he’s looking to escape the Lesser Zone and needs your help with it. Go to the Farmstead and into the Old Mill. Navigate slowly and make sure to scan the path ahead for traps. Make your way to the upper floor of the mill and talk to Quint. Agree to help him escape, and this will kick off the quest.
How To Complete Piece of Cake
After talking to Quint inside the mill, head out and move 75 meters to the northwest to find the cave entrance inside an abandoned building. The building’s floor has caved in. Jump into the hole to enter the cave.
A Bloodsucker patrols the path ahead and is invisible. The creature will rush you as you drop down. We recommend running past it towards the other end of the cave to have a wider space to fight it in. Defeat the creature and continue deeper into the cave. Ahead lies a section with acid pools.
Pull out your detector and navigate past the acid to reach the artifact and retrieve it. A ladder lies at the end of the path ahead. Climb out the ladder to exit the cave and head towards the mill. You can choose to return the artifact to Quint or keep it for yourself. Complete the interaction with Quint to finish the ‘Piece of Cake’ quest in Stalker 2.
