STALKER 2 or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the sequel to the GSC Game World’s hit franchise. The game is set in the Chornobyl Anomalous Exclusion Zone, which gives birth to deadly mutants and anomalies. In addition to these threats, you need to defend yourself from various groups of human enemies.
Luckily, STALKER 2 offers you the freedom to take out human enemies in different approaches, whether opting for complete action with guns blazing or taking out one by one stealthy. Having a silenced pistol enhances your stealth approach and here is how to get one in STALKER 2.
Get These Silenced Pistols Early in STALKER 2
PTM – Silenced Pistol
Getting a silenced pistol early makes a significant impact on your combat. Luckily, you can get one during the early story mission, ‘Answers Come at a Price’. Head to the Detention Center at the Garbage region, located north of Zalissya.
Enter the detention center and make your way through the door on the left. Climb the upstairs to find the meeting room, where you need to meet Star. Talking with him rewards you with the PTM.
UDP Compact – Silenced Pistol
Let’s move to the next silenced pistol, the UDP Compact. This pistol can be found in the Chemical Plant during the “All that is left” side mission. Upon reaching the Chemical Plant, talk to Lt. Mateus at the front entrance to activate this side mission. It points you to get an artifact at the Chemical Tanks located south of the Chemical Plant.
You will find an opening on the ground at the center of the Chemical Tanks region. The area will be covered with several green acid pools. You also face several anomalies and mutants. Enter the hole at the center and get down to the basement. Now you will find a small tunnel with a bag at the end of the tunnel. Loot the bag to acquire the UDP Compact and its attachments (Silencer and Magazine).
How To Use Silenced Pistol in STALKER 2?
Being stealthy is an effective way to survive in the Zone. There are times when you might surrounded by a group of enemies. Getting into complete action in those cases mostly ends up in failure. That’s where stealth comes in, with a handy knife and suppressed weapons, you can eliminate enemies without making a fuzz or getting a scratch.
Although silencers or suppressors can be attached to various weapons for a stealthy approach, silenced pistols are the first ones you’ll encounter in the game. These silenced pistols play a crucial role in the early stages.
They can be used at a decent range to eliminate an enemy without drawing attention. When perfectly aimed for the heads, these pistols allow you to take out enemies with a single shot. You can also remove the suppressors and use them on any other compatible pistols based on your convenience.
With attachments like Tactical Pistol Silencer and Pistol Suppressor, you can modify any pistol and use them for stealth kills. You can get these attachments by searching loots around the Zone.
