The Liquid Rock artifact in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has unique properties that make it one of the best items to collect in the game. These items can only be found near chemical anomalies throughout The Zone. You will have to be lucky to find these, as it’s a legendary-grade artifact and rarely appears in key areas.

What makes this artifact unique compared to others is that it doesn’t have any negative effects. The item does not apply radiation, so you can equip it all the time. Additionally, it provides maximum Radiation and Chemical protection.

This guide will discuss how to get the Liquid Rock artifact in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. We’ll also be explaining where to find them in The Zone.

Fruit Punches

Fruit Punches are small toxic puddles on the ground. You can find them throughout the Garbage and the Lesser Zone regions. Be careful, as they release toxic fumes that can be dangerous when you’re too close.

Sunny Kindergarten

The Sunny Kindergarten is located southeast of the “White House.” It’s right beside the main road of the Pripyat region, so you can’t miss it. Make sure to equip your best chemical protection gears before entering the building.

Death Hole

Just northwest of Sunny Kindergarten, you can find a huge gaping hole filled with toxic fumes. Be careful not to fall down the hole while looking for the Liquid Rock artifact. Dropping down the toxic fumes can kill you if you don’t have enough acid protection stats.

Containers

The Containers we’re referring to here is the one west of the Parking Lot in the Red Forest region. Look for a hole in the middle of the area and hop inside to enter a tunnel. Explore the tunnel with your detector to encounter anomalies along the way.

Chasm

You reach the Chasm just east of Yantar Production Complex. Getting to the location of the artifact is a bit tricky. Make sure to look around first and be familiar with the area. Wear your best chemical protection gear if you are willing to dive in the toxic gas for the loot.

Toxic Bog

The Toxic Bog is located just northeast of Bloodsucker Village in the Chemical Plant region. You can farm acid artifacts in this area due to the high concentration of anomalies. If you’re lucky, you may find a Liquid Rock artifact here.

Poisonous Hole

Head west of Commissary in the Garbage region to reach the Poisonous hole. This is also a good farming spot for acid artifacts. However, you still need to be careful as this place is filled with Fruit Punches. You might want to gear up with acid protection equipment before heading here.

Floodplain

Just a few distances from the Hangar in the Cooling Towers region, you can find the Floodplain. This place is a pool of water mixed with acid. We don’t recommend swimming here without good acid protection gear.

Vehicle Graveyard

Travel southeast from The Ward’s Outpost to reach the Vehicle Graveyard. Be careful when exploring this location, as there are giant acidic bubbles in the area. You don’t want to be near these bubbles when they start exploding. If you don’t have any safe path to get past the bubbles, move close enough to activate them and back away before they explode.

Chemical Tanks

This area is tied to the ‘All That is Left’ mission. After completing this side mission, you can wait a few in-game days before heading back to this place to find artifacts. You can find a decent amount of acid anomalies in this area. Pull up your detector and try to search for an artifact here.

Hydrodynamics Lab

Just northeast of the Swamp Tram, you can find the Hydrodynamics Lab. Head to the building’s backyard. Use your detector to locate acid anomalies and find a Liquid Rock artifact. Be careful as this area is littered with acid pools and exploding bubbles.

Marshes

It’s a small area located just north of the Hydrodynamics Lab in the Zaton region. Watch out for exploding acid bubbles in the area when searching for artifacts. If you can’t get past the exploding bubbles, you might need to activate them first to clear the path.
