The release of MachineGames’ upcoming action-adventure title, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, is right around the corner. Like MachineGames’ previous projects, i.e., the modern Wolfenstein games, the upcoming Indiana Jones is a story-driven action-adventure title with some light platforming elements. Not only is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle a stark departure from what MachineGames is best known for, i.e., first-person shooters, it’s also the studio’s very first foray into the current-generation consoles. With the game’s looming release date, publisher Bethesda Softworks has finally revealed key information on the game’s pre-load.

As of writing this article, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is already available to pre-load on Xbox Series X|S. Furthermore, the game is also available to pre-load on consoles if you own it via Xbox Game Pass. Here’s everything you need to know about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s pre-load, including the game’s file size, system requirements, and more.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle File Size

On PC and Xbox Series X|S, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle requires roughly 135 GB of storage. However, the game’s download size comes in at around 115 GB. Furthermore, as is the case with any current-generation title, developer MachineGames highly recommends installing the game on an SSD. The 100+ GB file size isn’t surprising considering the size and scope of the game. Furthermore, like MachineGames’ past titles, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is built using id Tech (id Tech 7). The id Tech engine is known to have a higher than usual file size. Doom Eternal, which was built using the same id Tech 7, is also roughly 100 GB in size.

It should be noted that the 115 GB download also includes the pre-order and Premium Edition add-ons. You won’t have to download those DLC add-ons separately.

How To Pre-Load Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
