Sniper Elite: Resistance, the latest instalment in the iconic Sniper Elite series, is due for release next year. Although the game is still months away from its official release date, pre-orders for the title are already live on all platforms. Much like the previous mainline titles in the Sniper Elite series, Resistance is a cross-generation release, meaning it’s coming to both current-gen and previous-gen consoles, alongside PC.
However, players who purchase the game on consoles, get access to both current and previous-gen versions without any additional cost. Furthermore, much like the previous entries in the series, Sniper Elite: Resistance is priced at $60, which is lower than the $70 most Triple-A games charge nowadays.
In addition to that, the game is offered in multiple different editions, alongside pre-order and early access incentives. Here’s everything you need to know about Sniper Elite: Resistance, including the release date, pre-order details, and more.
All Sniper Elite: Resistance Editions
Sniper Elite: Resistance is scheduled to be released on January 28, 2025. The game is offered in two different editions: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition costs $59.99 and comes with the base game as well as the pre-order exclusive add-ons. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, is priced at $89.99 and comes with everything in the Standard Edition, alongside an extra exclusive weapon and the game’s Expansion Pass.
If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition, you will get to play the base game 2 days before its official release. The 2-day early access (Advanced Access on Steam) is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition pre-order and isn’t available for the Standard Edition of the game.

The pre-order bonus includes the following items:
- Target Führer – Lights, Camera, Achtung campaign mission
- 1x weapon skin
- Karabiner 98 Rifle
It should be noted that the contents of the Expansion Pass are planned to be released in the months following the game’s release. The Expansion Pass will include three campaign missions, with multiple targets as well as unique locales (maps). More details on the Expansion Pass will be revealed close to Sniper Elite: Resistance’s official release date.
