Grace Van Dien is an American actress and streamer who called out FaZe Clan for staring and whispering about her during the Streamer Awards.
Grace Van Dien is known for her roles in popular Netflix series, “Stranger Things” and “Greenhouse Academy.” The 28-year-old is an American actress, YouTuber, and Twitch streamer who goes by the name BlueFille on the streaming platform. Born and raised in America, she debuted with television, and her first series was “I Married A Princess.”
Grace Van’s first major role was Brooke Osmond in the series Greenhouse Academy. She later appeared as a guest on Stranger Things as Chrissy Cunningham. Van Dien created her YouTube channel in December 2021, and she started live-streaming on Twitch in the same year. In just three months, she gained 200,000 followers on her channel.
In May 2023, she announced that she joined the FaZe Clan, which made her the first woman to join the e-sports organisation. However, some time later she had a fallout with the founding member of the clan, Nordan FaZe Rain, along with some of the fanbases associated with them. Later, they did call a truce, but Grace Van Dien left the organisation.
Grace Van Dien’s Feud With FaZe Clan Members
In 2023, when FaZe Clan announced through a tweet that they want more women in the club. To which member FaZe Rain replied, saying,
“Spoiler alert it’s Grace and the only reasoning I heard was cuz she was on one episode of stranger things.”
This leak was perceived as disrespectful by a lot of members of the clan and the community. However, FaZe Rain later clarified that the tweet was not aimed at Grace but the organisation as they were making a “political move.”
This fight grew intense as the two exchanged some personal remarks. However, FaZe Rain ended up apologising to her. He said,
“I agree with you, I actually feel really bad, I wasn’t being serious and I shouldn’t have said that last part. I edited it out at first but it just didn’t hit without it lmfao. I already contacted grace and ima talk to her and apologize, I have zero problems with her. She’s not the problem and i don’t want anyone thinking that or any of this to distract what the real point of all this is.”

Faze Rain and Grace Van Dien later decided to collaborate and address the matter. However, Rain posted a photo on X, and the caption read, “Even though things look good it took a terrible turn lol.”

On her private X account, Grace Van disclosed that she left the situation upset and in tears.
Recently, during the Streamer Awards 2024, Grace Van Dien reignited the controversy. Grace called out the “boys” of the FaZe Clan for allegedly staring at her during the event. In the Tweet, she said,
“Faze guys are so brave online but just stared and whispered whenever they saw me last night. micro energy”
