The First Berserker: Khazan, the upcoming souls-like action game from Neople and Nexon, finally has a confirmed release date. The release date announcement comes courtesy of The Game Awards 2024, where Nexon also revealed a new cinematic trailer for the game. Although the game is technically connected to Nexon’s iconic Dungeon Fighters Online (DnF) IP, it’s quite different from most DnF titles.

Instead of being a beat-em-up, Khazan is essentially an action RPG with some souls-like elements. The game most closely resembles titles like Team Ninja’s Nioh or CI Games’ Lords of the Fallen. Despite the shift in genre, there’s a ton of hype and anticipation surrounding the title, owing to its DnF roots.

Although the game is still months away from release, pre-orders for Khazan are already live on all platforms. Here’s everything you need to know about The First Berserker: Khazan’s pre-order details, including editions, prices, bonuses, and more.

All The First Berserker: Khazan Editions

The First Berserker: Khazan is scheduled to be released on March 24, 2025. The game will be available on all current-generation platforms, i.e., PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. Like any other modern Triple-A release, Nexon’s upcoming title is offered in multiple different editions.

Essentially, there are two different editions of the game: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition comes with the base game and the pre-order bonus. Whereas the Deluxe Edition comes packed with everything in the Standard Edition alongside an exclusive armor set and the game’s official artbook. Furthermore, pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition lets you get access to the game 3 days early.

Here’s a complete breakdown of the different editions of The First Berserker: Khazan:

Standard Edition ($59.99)

  • Base game
  • Pre-order bonus

Deluxe Edition ($69.99)

  • Base game
  • Pre-order bonus
  • 72-hour early access
  • Hero’s weapon set
  • Hero’s Dual Wield
  • Hero’s Spear
  • Hero’s Greatsword
  • Hero’s armor set
  • Hero’s helm
  • Hero’s wristguards
  • Hero’s pauldrons
  • Hero’s leggings
  • Hero’s combat boots
  • Digital artbook

The pre-order bonus includes the Fallen Star armor set. It should be noted that the pre-order bonus is available for Standard and Deluxe Editions of the game, granted you get the game ahead of its official release date.

The First Berserker: Khazan is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. On PC, the game is available only via Steam. It should be noted that on PC, the game does ship with Denuvo DRM, which can be a deal-breaker for some players.

Furthermore, based on the game’s official system requirements, Khazan will take roughly 70 GB of storage space on your PC or console. The file size isn’t surprising considering the game is built using Unreal Engine 4, which is known to have higher-than-usual storage requirements. In addition to that, developer Neople and Nexon recommend installing the game on an SSD for the best experience.
