One of the most challenging locations in Abiotic Factor is also the one that gives you access to some of the best rewards. We’re referring to the Inner Wing area, where you’ll face off against the toughest monsters and find the most valuable loot in the game. However, accessing this location is just as tricky as what you’ll have to do inside it. There’s a locked door and an associated console blocking your way into the Inner Wing. You need a specific tool to bypass the locked console and open the door to the location.

In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can craft the necessary tool and then gain access to the Inner Wing in Abiotic Factor.

The locked console and door leading to the Inner Wing are just underneath the Yellow Paint Room at the Cascade Labs. Once you go beneath the room, you will spot a bridge with the locked console and door. If you only have a basic Hacker Tool, you won’t be able to get through this particular console. Instead, the only way to access the door and the area within is by upgrading your Hacker Tool to tier 3.

How To Make the Tier 3 Hacker Tool

Crafting the tier 3 Hacker Tool isn’t simple because it requires a couple of rare materials. You’ll need to craft these two ingredients first before you can craft the tool itself. Each ingredient is made up of several other resources. Here are the primary ingredients required to craft the tool:

1x Memory Brick
2x Quantum Glass

Now, let’s take a look at how you can craft the above-mentioned ingredients from other parts.

Memory Brick

To craft a Memory Brick, you’ll need 3x Case Fan, 2x Military Electronics, 1x Projection Matrix and 1x Jailbroken CPU. You can acquire Case Fans by breaking down computers across various areas in the game, including the Office Sector and Cascade Labs. If you are looking to get your hands on Military Electronics, you can do so by defeating Voussoire or Order foes. You can also salvage Military Radios, Defunct Shield Generators and other electronics to get this part.

You won’t find a Projection Matrix lying around in the world. Instead, you’ll have to craft this one by combining Stapler, Optic Lens, Liquid Crystal, and Anteverse Gem. The trickiest part of making the Memory Brick is the Jailbroken CPU. You can only get it from Containment Robots, which are difficult enemies to face. You can install Tesla Coils near their docks to take down these enemies conveniently. Once they’re down, collect the required parts from them.

Quantum Glass

You will need to bring 1x Anteverse Gem and 4x Glass Scraps to the crafting station to make Quantum Glass. Simply drop some Anteverse Wheat into the Quantum Exchanger to get your hands on an Anteverse Gem. Glass Scraps are common items that you’ll find easily when searching through broken monitors, photocopiers, hydropanels, and similar instruments.

Once you have both the necessary amount of Memory Brick and Quantum Glass in your possession, bring them to the crafting station. There, you will need to create the tier 3 Hacker Tool. After that’s done, head back to the locked console underneath the Yellow Paint Room. You can now break through and enter the Inner Wing.
