The Antique Shotgun in Abiotic Factor seems out of place when you compare it with all of the high-tech weaponry you acquire over the course of the game. However, that’s where its draw is. You shouldn’t expect bonus damage or additional perks from this gun. However, if you’re a bit of a completionist and simply want to add it to your collection, you’ll need to know how to get it. So, in the following guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on Antique Shotgun. We’ll also take a look at some of its stats.

How To Get the Antique Shotgun in Abiotic Factor
You can find the weapon in two distinct locations.
- You can head to the Containment Block Dirac in Cascade Laboratories. There, you will find the Shotgun inside one of the holding cells.
- Alternatively, you can speak with Marion after completing the Security Sector area. You can trade a Lodestone with him in exchange for the Antique Shotgun.
How To Use the Antique Shotgun in Abiotic Factor
Once you’ve acquired the weapon, you can begin using it like any other Shotgun. However, it has a clip size of two, which means you’ll have to reload often during intense combat scenarios. If you want to improve the base weapon, you can craft its upgrade, which turns it into the Polished Antique Shotgun.
To make this upgrade, you’ll need to combine the weapon with 10x Arcane Scrap, 1x Cloth Scrap, 4x Black Oil, and 3x Intermediate Gun Repair Kit. The upgraded weapon has a 2% chance with each shot to deal 10000 explosive damage. Here are some of the stats of the base Antique Shotgun:

- Loss chance: 50%
