Adin Ross claimed that YourRAGE left Kick due to unmet demands regarding channel points and a poll system that his community wanted.

In a recent live stream with Kick CEO Ed Craven, Adin mentioned why YourRAGE left Kick. Adin Ross had a chat with Eddie on Ed’s latest livestream where they discussed the future of Kick and Adin.

In the same call, YourRAGE’s departure from the platform was brought up. Adin stated that YourRAGE was asking for one thing, and they could not provide it. Rage had demanded a channel point system on the platform for his streams. For those unaware, Channel points on Twitch are a reward system that provides viewers with rewards that can be redeemed by anyone, including subscribers.

Joshua “YourRAGE” had previously demanded channel points and poll-system for the chat. However, the Kick team did not meet his demands. He also mentioned this in his first stream back on Twitch while explaining his departure.

The streamer also mentioned how Kick had not implemented the system even after multiple conversations with the team. He specifically wanted a system that would allow viewers to earn points and participate in polls, aiming to enhance community engagement with predictions.

In the conversation with Ed, Ross mentioned his disappointment with the lack of certain features and that it might have contributed to the departure of Joshua. Adin mentioned that he is a long-time friend of Joshua and that he knows Rage likes to involve the community in his ventures. Ross stated:

“Okay, so, a streamer like YourRAGE, he came on and he was asking for like, one thing. He wanted Channel Points and he wanted, you know, voting or polls, right? The right vote-poll system. And he asked a long time, a long long time for that.”

Why Did YourRAGE Leave Kick?

Joshua Maynard, popularly known as YourRAGE, announced on December 8, 2024, that he will be departing from Kick and returning to Twitch. In his first stream back on Twitch, Rage had accused Kick of not paying him for two months. He also mentioned that he did not feel the same while streaming on Kick as he did on Twitch.

Kick had reportedly offered YourRAGE more money than his previous contract but he refused the offer. However, Maynard said he intends to stream a Kick-exclusive podcast. In another stream earlier this year, Josh also called out the green platform for not offering Plaqueboymax a contract. Max also disclosed his intentions to join the platform but had not received the offer.

Felix “xQc” had called out YourRAGE for his unprofessional behavior after leaving Kick. However, Rage and xQc collab-ed in a livestream and resolved the feud. The streamers also had a humorous exchange along with other FaZe Clan creators.
