Alleged Assassin’s Creed Shadows Leaks

u/Ajxtt took to a gaming leaks subreddit forum to report leaked details that allegedly come from someone who has a copy of the unreleased title. This leaked information reveals several alleged features that the latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed Shadows will offer.

Take all the information with a grain of salt as it comes from a leaked source that cannot be verified at this point. The Reddit post states that the leaker has played the game in Quality Mode on a PlayStation 5 for approximately 10 to 11 hours. Although the gameplay looks like an early build of the title, the user didn’t come across any major issues except one cutscene bug.

The leaker was also unable to claim the Deluxe Outfit codes that came with the purchased disc. According to the post, players would be able to start AC Shadows as Yasuke, followed by Naoe’s missions. Players reportedly wouldn’t be able to switch back to the former for quite some time after completing the Introductory mission.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows reportedly has well-made cutscenes. However, the leaker has alleged that NPC interactions feel weird as their mouths don’t seem to move while talking. The post also mentions that the title card for the game drops after two hours and that the first three hours are mostly filled with cutscenes. Additionally, the person compares gameplay with fully armored Yasuke to Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima, noting that they seem to be scared of the former. Lastly, the leaker revealed that the title would feature 55 trophies on PSN, with one requiring players to visit all cities on the map.

Leaked Media Updates

The original leaker who allegedly received the title ahead of its launch has also leaked certain pictures and videos. The pictures reveal Story Mission titles from the Save Game menu, Animus loading screens for the two protagonists, gameplay shots from feudal Japan, Inventory screen for Naoe, and Video menu options.

The videos, on the other hand, reveal a couple of things. Let’s take a look at all the key features revealed in these allegedly leaked media:

  • The Mastery tab shows various mastery options with separate skill trees for stealth, tools, and weapon upgrades.
  • An Inventory tab that shows Naoe’s weapons, headgear, and armor.
  • Assassin’s Creed Shadows Map.
  • An Objective tab that features several categorized objectives.
  • An Inventory tab for Yasuke that shows off his weapons and headgear.
  • A Mastery tab that reveals Yasuke’s mastery options.
  • A leaked clip also features Naoe’s combat gameplay from AC Shadows, which seems to look quite smooth and seamless for an early build.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set for release on March 20, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Mac. As of now, players don’t have a way to verify these leaks or claims. Thus, the community is advised to wait until the release or for the developers to shed some light on the matter.
