Conjuration is the magic art to pursue if you are looking to complete Oblivion Remastered on Expert or Master difficulty with relative ease. This is because enemies have massively increased hitpoints and damage against the player on higher difficulties, but summoned creatures aren’t affected and fight on equal grounds. Therefore, having a friendly combatant tanking a few hits and dealing considerable damage is an invaluable aid in such difficulties.
Levelling up Conjuration will give the caster access to higher-tier summons and reduce the Magicka cost for each spell. For mages and archers, it becomes essential to always have a summoned creature on the frontline, distracting hostiles. Like all skills in the game, Conjuration can be trained under the tutelage of various experts for a tidy sum of gold.

Approach the following NPCs in Oblivion Remastered and ask them for Conjuration training through dialogue:

How To Improve Conjuration in Oblivion Remastered
The best place to train Conjuration and acquire new summoning spells is the Chorrol Mages Guild, as it specializes in the art. Improving the skill itself will only decrease the Magicka consumed to cast Conjuration spells and will not strengthen the summons in any way.
However, you can buff your summons with other spells such as Fortify Strength and Fortify Speed. You can also kill summons to refill soul gems or use them as targets to level up skills. Most summoned creatures will become hostile after two friendly fire incidents. Here are some tips to expand and improve your Conjuration:
- Buy new summoning spells from Alberic Litte and Athragar at the Chorrol Mages Guild.
- Find and read skill books for free level-ups.
- The Ayleid Crown of Nenalata Fortifies Conjuration by 15 points. The light helmet artifact can be found in Herminia Cinna’s house while completing the Secrets of the Ayleids quest.
- Improve Intelligence to cast more powerful conjuration spells. Alternatively, use Fortify Intelligence to reach the required magicka capacity.
- Start the ‘Conjuration Training’ quest with Olyn Seran after reaching skill level 70 in Conjuration. Summon a Faded Wraith to earn his approval and begin training.
- The Sanguine Rose Staff allows you to summon a random Daedra to fight alongside you. Complete the hilarious Sanguine quest to obtain it.
