All Speechcraft Trainers in Oblivion Remastered

Level up Speechcraft by finding trainers in Oblivion Remastered to make the persuasion mini-game easier and increase disposition.

Trading with merchants, extracting information from characters for a quest, and lowering hostility in Oblivion Remastered becomes easier with a high Speechcraft level. Governed by the Personality attribute, Speechcraft directly affects how easily you can raise your disposition with NPCs. At higher ranks, the persuasion mini-game becomes simpler to succeed in, and bribing provides a greater increase in disposition.

You gain Speechcraft experience for every round of the persuasion mini-game you complete. However, leveling this skill by repeatedly playing the game can be time-consuming and tedious, especially for classes without Speechcraft as a major skill. For a more efficient path, seek out some of the many trainers across Cyrodiil who can boost your Speechcraft skill directly in exchange for gold.

To begin training, speak to the trainer and select the “Train” option under the dialogue menu. This opens up a training page that allows you to increase Speechcraft by one to five skill points. If you train all five skill points, training again is only possible after your character levels up. Here’s where to find all the Speechcraft trainers in Oblivion Remastered:

As with other skills, the cost of each training session depends on your current skill level, not the trainer’s rank. Expect to pay 10 gold per skill point. For example, training from level 50 to 51 will cost 500 gold.

When your Speechcraft reaches level 70, advanced trainers will no longer be able to help. At this point, speak with Varon Vamori or Gruiand Garrana to initiate the “Speechcraft Training” quest. They will speak of Tandilwe’s sermons in the Temple of the One and praise her as a great orator who can teach you further. Follow the quest marker to the temple and talk to the High Elf priestess, Tandilwe.

Tandilwe makes the most difficult demand of any master trainer in the game. She asks you to speak with every beggar in Cyrodiil to comfort them before she is willing to train you. There are 19 beggars in total, five in the Imperial City and two in each major town.

Any beggar you have previously conversed with counts toward the quest. Just interacting with a beggar by opening the dialogue options will mark them as complete. Fast-travel to every town and speak with the beggars before returning to Tandilwe. The priestess will be pleased and offer her training services to you, completing the “Speechcraft Training” quest.
