8) Kuroobi
As a loyal officer of Arlong, Kuroobi was one of the first opponents Sanji faced in One Piece. This Fish-Man had a lot of influence in his crew, being a level 40 black belt practitioner of Fish-Man Karate. His physicality and raw strength also far surpass normal humans.
In his battle against Sanji, he was able to put up a good fight, nearly emerging victorious underwater. Unfortunately, he was far outmatched on land, since Sanji was too adept with his kicks. The Fish-Man was beaten down rapidly before ever getting a chance to counter.
7) Wanze
Similar to Sanji, Wanze was also a cook and served as an antagonist in the Water 7 Arc. As a member of the CP7, he got in the way of the Straw Hats when they were riding the Sea Train. By manipulating his ramen, he is able to form armor, shoot projectiles, and even use it as a weapon.
Despite seeming impressive in his battle against Sanji, the Straw Hat was a skilled chef who could cut through the ramen with knives. Due to his frustrations about Robin’s capture as well as Wanze wasting food, Sanji ended the fight with a devastating kick.
6) Wadatsumi
The massive Fish-Man Wadatsumi might not classify as a villain due to his naive nature, but he did obstruct the Straw Hats in the Fish-Man Island Arc. Using his great size, physical strength, and ability to inhale air, he made for an intimidating enemy.
However, Sanji used Wadatsumi’s innocence to force him into puffing himself up too much, while Jinbe hit him with his martial arts. While the Fish-Man was floating away, Sanji ended the fight with a fiery kick, causing his opponent to faint.

As the leader of the Zombie Soldiers and a key officer of Gecko Moria, Absalom was an important antagonist in the Thriller Bark Arc. Bon Clay is a beloved One Piece character who was originally an antagonist in the Arabasta Arc but goes on to become an ally. Introduced as Mr. 2 of Baroque Works, Bon Clay’s Mane Mane no Mi allows him to change his appearance and trick others. Recognizing his powers, Sanji used his Germa Kingdom Raid Suit. This allowed the Straw Hat to make his attacks more potent and also use invisibility. With this, the two engaged in an exhilarating battle in Wano. However, since Page One underestimated Sanji’s powers with his suit, he was eventually brought down by a barrage of kicks.
2) Jabra
Jabra is one of the strongest members of the CP0, having posed a significant obstacle to the Straw Hats. His Inu Inu no Mi turns him into a wolf-human hybrid with immense strength, enhanced by Rokushiki techniques.
With this, he destroyed Usopp at Enies Lobby and proceeded to fight Sanji. The two had a high-stakes, high-speed battle, putting all on the line. While Jabra was initially overpowering Sanji, the chef turned the tide with his Diable Jambe kick. This burnt through his opponent, burying him under the ground.
1) Queen
The concluding fight of the Wano Arc saw the Straw Hats facing off against all the elite members of the Beasts Pirates. While Luffy was busy with Kaido and Zoro faced King, Sanji’s opponent was Queen.
This talented scientist was blessed with all sorts of cybernetic enhancements, whether it be laser beams, rocket launchers, or larger limbs. Along with these, Queen could transform into a huge Brachiosaurus of extreme strength. Combining them with his prowess in Armament Haki, he is undoubtedly the strongest opponent Sanji has fought.
The Straw Hat also faced considerable psychological strain since Queen kept reminding him of his Vinsmoke lineage. Nevertheless, Sanji overcame his trauma and beat Queen with a powerful Ifrit Jambe. This highlighted his development, both mentally and physically.
