Metaphor ReFantazio features a ton of in-depth mechanics and elements that set it apart from the regular JRPG. While the game’s combat provides an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride, it also has a political landscape that can be challenging and exciting to navigate. If you manage to meet certain political requirements, you can earn the Debate Me achievement and add it to your list of accolades in your journey through Euchronia.
In this article, we will break down what you need to do to unlock the Debate Me achievement in Metaphor ReFantazio.
How to Unlock the Debate Me Achievement in Metaphor ReFantazio
To unlock the Debate Me achievement, you will have to take part in and win 8 debates across the map. There are various podiums located in different regions of Euchronia. This includes three debates in Martira, four debates in Port Brilehaven, and the final one in Altabury Heights. Below are the dates and locations of all of the debates, along with the right answer needed to win:
Martira
- 7/06: Loveless – Alcohol won’t bring equality.
- 7/07: Lina – What are your policies?
- 7/09: Roger – Taxes benefit us all.
Port Brilehaven
- 7/23: Jin – We should help anyone.
- 7/24: Glodell – You only parrot Louis!
- 7/26: Rudolf – The tribes must stand together.
- 7/27: Milo – Beauty is deeper than our skin.
Altabury Heights
- 9/13: Julian – The present day matters too.
Once you complete the final debate at the Altabury Podium, assuming you chose the correct answer, you will receive a cutscene with Gallica reaffirming how you won the debate. This will allow you to unlock and add the Debate Me achievement to your long list of achievements in Metaphor ReFantazio. If you don’t receive the achievement at this point, you likely missed a step in the process. This means you will have to wait till your second playthrough to unlock the Debate Me achievement.
