Endorsements are one of the best ways to get VC in NBA 2K25, so here’s everything you need to know to unlock them.
If you want to earn Virtual Currency (VC) for your MyCAREER in NBA 2K25, endorsements are the way to go. These are accessible from the Side Quests category, but unlocking them can take a while. As you continue to play MyCAREER and gain more fans, you’ll receive endorsement deals from companies. Depending on the terms of the contracts, you will receive bonus VC for each game.
With that in mind, here’s how you get endorsement deals in 2K’s latest basketball simulation game.
How to Get Endorsement Deals in NBA 2K25’s MyCAREER
Your first endorsement deal in NBA 2K25’s MyCAREER will be unlocked once you play through the Franchise Player questline. To get this quest, you must speak with Tucker, your team coach in The City. The “Franchise Player: Become A Starter” quest will involve several games, and you’ll gain fans and VC upon completing them. Depending on your choice of team, difficulty level, and some dialogue options, the number of matches you play can vary.
After completing this questline, you’ll usually have enough fans to unlock First Endorsement, which is another quest. Simply talk to Patrick, an NPC you’ll find in MyCOURT, to start this. First Endorsement, as the name implies, lets you choose your first endorsement deal in NBA 2K25. This is a shoe deal where you can choose between Converse, Jordan, New Balance, Nike, Puma, and Under Armour.
In addition to gaining On-Court Shoes of the chosen brand, here are the other benefits of these deals:
- Converse — 1,500 VC if named to any All-Defensive Team.
- Jordan — 1,500 VC if winner of the NBA Finals.
- New Balance — New Balance billboard campaign; 1,000 if MP is named to All-Rookie Team.
- Nike — 1,000 if named Rookie or Player of the Month 5 or more times this season.
- Puma — 1,000 if MP records 6 Triple-Doubles OR 1,000 Points.
- Under Armour — 1,000 if MP records 100 3-Pointers Made OR 1,000 Points.
How to Unlock and Sign More Endorsements in NBA 2K25
After unlocking your first endorsement, you’ll be able to access the Endorsements menu. You’ll find this in the Side quests section of your MyCAREER main menu. You can check all the requirements for unlocking your next set of endorsements, provided by brands like American Express, Gatorade, KIA, and more. While most of these require you to have a specified number of Total Fans, you’ll also have to pay attention to the types of fans.
