Popular Twitch streamer Asmongold claimed that the Twitch moderation team has “radical anti-Israel” and “extreme leftist” viewpoints.
Popular Twitch streamer Zack “Asmongold” has made bold claims about the Twitch moderation team. The streamer believes that the moderation team holds some “extreme leftist viewpoints” and “radical anti-Israel” sentiments.
This comes after Ethan Klein, popular as h3h3 productions, was banned on Twitch following the rerun of his content nuke video against Hasan Piker on Twitch. The streamer stated that the moderation team has caused obvious bias against some of the streamers on the platform.
“I think that there are people that have radical anti-Israel sentiments that work on Twitch moderation team. I think that there have been so many examples of things that are…And also it’s not even just anti-Israel, I think it’s just extreme leftist viewpoints that work on the moderation team and make decision on the moderation team, that it’s caused an obvious bias.”

Asmongold streams on his alternate Twitch account called Zackrawrr where the streamer has garnered a following of 2M followers. The streamer has also shifted his content from mainly gaming to more political standpoints. Although Zack still engages in gaming, the streamer mostly makes headlines for his political views as of late.
While talking about the Twitch moderation team, Zack stated that Amazon’s top brass should pay attention to the moderation issues. Previously, Asmongold had mentioned that he will be talking to some of Amazon’s executives to get their attention towards HasanAbi’s political statements on the platform. After HasanAbi was banned on Twitch however, Asmon stated that he had no role in the situation.

Asmongold also believes that if Amazon’s executive leadership was made aware of the supposed antisemitism on Twitch, there will be a “mega apocalypse.” The streamer stated that companies like Amazon don’t want antisemitism on their platform. Zack also acknowledged that Elon Musk agreed to Twitch’s “double standards.”
“All it would really take is just somebody making the executive leadership at Amazon aware of this. If the executive leadership at Amazon was given impression there’s antisemitism going on at Twitch, there will be a Twitch apocalypse…mega Twitch apocalypse.”

Asmongold also mentioned that he will be talking to some of Amazon or Twitch’s executive leadership if a similar situation takes place again. The streamer stated that it was “too much” and it could hurt the platform. For context, Twitch had banned h3h3 productions for 30 days after the YouTuber broadcasted his popular ‘Content Nuke: Hasan Piker’ video. After much backlash, the platform unbanned Ethan after a day.
