Assassin’s Creed Shadows: The Path He Walks Mission Guide

Through ‘The Path He Walks’ quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Yasuke continues his mission to hunt down more members of the Templar Order.

The Path He Walks quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows sees Yasuke reuniting with his old friend, Luis Frois, and continuing his hunt for more members of the Templar Order. This storyline takes place after the “My Name is Yasuke” mission and is a requirement for the new DLC mission, Works of Luis Frois.

This makes the Path He Walks important and necessary to complete. So, in this article, we will give you all the details regarding this mission to make things easier for you.

How To Complete The Path He Walks Quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

First, go to Yasuke’s section on the objective board. From there, you will be able to select The Path He Walks quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. After that, your first objective will be to find and speak to Luis Frois. The game does not exactly tell you where he is and instead gives you some clues to aid your tracking. These clues are:

• He is in Yamato.
• He is in southern Kyoto.
• He is at the Jesuit Residences.

Now you have a vague idea of what to do. Head towards Kyoto, in the Yamato region. You can reach the location on foot or horseback, but the fastest way is to travel to the Nijo Tenshu. From there, go south, and when you find Luis Frois, speak to him as Yasuke. In addition to that, you can also use scouts from the map menu to locate him or use the focus mode in the Jesuit Residences.

Yasuke and Luis Frois will then share a conversation, and our samurai protagonist will ask his friend to decipher a note he got from Duarte de Melo during the previous quest. The following are the two dialogue options you can choose from when Frois asks you about Duarte:

• “Duarte was from my past.”
• “Duarte was a bad man.”

Despite which one you choose, it does not affect the narrative much. Luis Frois then speaks of a templar named Kimura Kei and his hand in training various secret warriors at a school in Kii. Yasuke quickly discovers that these warriors are going to serve Nuno Caro, the final target of the storyline.

Surprisingly enough, The Path He Walks quest ends after this revelation, but it also unlocks the members of the Templar Order as targets in your objective board. However, Yasuke leaves with 2,000 XP as his reward, and the Fighting for the Cause quest opens up.
