ROG NUC was originally introduced back in 2024 with first-generation Core Ultra mobile processors such as the Core Ultra 9 185H and Core Ultra 7 155H. The GPU options available at that time were the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060.

ROG NUC is a super cool portable gaming PC made for users who like to take a powerful system on the go, which is different from laptops. Now, ASUS has released the ROG NUC 2025 edition. Let’s check out the various upgrades it brings.

This upgraded 2025 model also features an RTX 5080 graphics card, although this is again the laptop variant and not the desktop one. Still, it offers a major upgrade over the RTX 4070 featured in last year’s model. Speaking of ports, the ROG NUC 2025 includes Ethernet, 3.5mm audio, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C Gen 2, and six USB-A ports, which are also Gen 2.
