When discussing the 4070 Super GPU, gamers often pair a 1440p high refresh rate display alongside it. The GPU is well-suited for a high-FPS, native 1440p experience with the Complementary Reimagined 5.4 shaders. It can easily do 4K, but the settings mentioned here, including rendering chunks and shadows, must be turned down. At 1440p, from our observations, the average VRAM consumption is 6.5-7GB after 3-4 hours of long play.

VRAM usage will alter depending on the texture-pack resolution if you use Faithful or any other texture pack. Refer to the settings below for an optimized gameplay experience.

Note—These settings are based on Minecraft Version 1.21.5, along with the Neoforge beta mod loader, Sodium, and Iris for compatibility. It is essential to note that if your mod base recommends Optifine, Oculus, or any other option not mentioned here, this guide, except for the shader setting, will not be applicable.

The Reimagined shader is a lightweight yet visually appealing, easy-to-run, eye-candy-like modding experience. It’s not that the 4070 Super can’t run Minecraft at high fps. It’s just that the Reimagined shaders allow the framerates to go even higher.

Moreover, the fantastic performance comes from the booming mod-loader, Neforge, a fork of the Forge mod, but with even better tweaking, ensuring linear GPU scaling. Then comes Sodium, which takes it even further. You can adjust the settings below to your preferred visuals, frame rates, and other settings.
