Here are the best settings for Enshrouded to dial in with your RDNA 4 powered AMD RX 9070 and 9070 XT Graphics cards.

Back in 2018, AMD was clearly on the back foot against Nvidia, with RX Vega and Radeon VII falling short against Pascal and Turing. AMD quit the high-end but brought the RDNA 1 architecture with the RX 5700 XT, which was literally a 1080 Ti but with 8GB VRAM, and that questioned the likes of RTX 2080 in raw raster.
RDNA 4’s launch brings back that glorious energy. Once again, we have mid-range AMD GPUs challenging the 80-class products from Nvidia. When it comes to Enshrouded, the performance is fantastic considering the current mid-range GPUs. Likewise, in my previous article for the 7900 XTX and 7900 XT, which were flagships, the 9070 and the XT also play at Native AA.
I strongly recommend that on 4K, you lock the framerate via RTGSS so that you do not lose FreeSync and enjoy the game in native resolution. Yes, FSR will improve your base framerates, but FSR 3 used here is nowhere near the latest DLSS. That said, below are the maxed-out settings for your 9070 and 9070 XT in Enshrouded.
Best Settings for RX 9070 and 9070 XT in Enshrouded (1440p / 4k Optimized)

First, I’ll make sure to clarify some confusion here. FSR 3 and native AA mean you are using the native resolution but using the Temporal Anti-Aliasing from FSR 3 to fix jagged edges and not relying on any upscaling. You can tune the 9070 to match the stock performance of the 9070 XT. For the 9070 XT, you can tune it to your heart’s content to make it even faster and compete far beyond its class.
So far, RDNA 4’s drivers look much better than RDNA 3, and we do not have users crashing. You may encounter one or two hiccups. For that, you always have the LiaNdrY/Enshrouded-Tool-Fix GitHub repository. This suite can easily fix texture corruption, inaccurate lighting, and shader corruption. Here is how you can get it working:
Open PowerShell as an admin. Then paste in this command:
