In this article, we shall go over the seven best skins that you should equip and use in your matches in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 hero shooter that puts you in the shoes of your favorite Marvel heroes, villains, and anti-heroes. As is the case with any live-service game, Marvel Rivals is filled with new skins and cosmetics to unlock. These skins bear no effect on gameplay but allow you to look stylish while wrecking the enemy team. What makes Marvel Rivals skins stand out is that all of them draw from decades of Marvel history and lore, featuring several distinct designs for each character individually.
For instance, your yellow Wolverine could be going up against a goth vampire hunter Wolverine, and it would never seem out of place in Marvel Rivals.
With the game having been out for a while, it now boasts an impressive selection of skins to pick and choose from. With so many skins, it can be difficult to decide which one to equip, and hence, we’re here to help. In this article, we shall go over the seven best skins that you should equip and use in your matches in Marvel Rivals.
1) Blood Edge Armor (Iron Man)
Starting off this list is one of the coolest costumes in the game, the Blood Edge Armor for Iron Man. It is no secret that Tony has always been one to push the boundaries of technology. The Blood Edge Armor, however, sees the billionaire don armor resembling something worn by knights and gladiators. The armor is black and gold, with sprinkles of red resembling cuts all over the body. The mask is a gladiator-esque helm with red eyes and completes the look.
2) Punisher 2099
While the regular Punisher’s outfit serves his vigilante motivations, the 2099 outfit paints him as a cold-blooded killer. Punisher 2099 sees Frank Castle donning a suit of armor, with armored gauntlets, boots, chest piece, and other equipment. The metal silver replaces the usual white, and the white skull at the center is now a haunting blood red. His face, too, is covered by an armored mask, making him resemble a torn-down Terminator. This look is perfect for Frank and makes him look doubly menacing.
3) Blood Moon Knight
The Moon Knight is always known for his off-white shade of colors, resembling the glow of the moon. Blood Moon Knight replaces the white and puts the hero in a full black outfit with a black cape. The outfit makes the Moon Knight appear like the Dark Knight, granting him a terrifying look that reflects the chaos within his mind. The shades of red along his blade, knees, and eyes give him a murderous look, making this the best outfit for Moon Knight.
4) Anti Venom
Venom is an iconic character with a design that has stood the test of time for decades. The Anti-Venom suit is the antithesis of Venom as you know him, swapping the black colors on his outfit for a matte white finish. The giant spider logo at the chest is also replaced with a giant black spider, and the eyes are now red. The fit is essentially a negative color swap of the original Venom design, and when your character is that cool, a color swap is simply all it takes to make him cooler.
5) Incognito Dolphin
We interrupt this emo skin show to bring you Jeff, the Land Shark! While most of the characters on this list flaunt some shade of black, white, red, or metal armor, Jeff’s Incognito Dolphin skin is a cute dolphin blanket. This cute pink outfit sees Jeff dressed up as a dolphin, amplifying his adorable features. The suit’s pink complements Jeff’s blue tone, making for a striking visual. You really can’t be mad when a cute shark dressed as a dolphin swallows you whole and throws you off a map, now can you?
6) Black Panther Galactic Claw
Black Panther is a character with a rich history, and all of his outfits reflect and take pride in said history. However, none of these outfits reflect the morals and culture of the Panther more than his Galactic Claw outfit. This outfit sees the Panther clad in purple, black, and gold, colors that are accentuated by the white fur collar. The mask, too, directly resembles a panther, much more so than the original design. This armor is the perfect concoction of technology meets tribal aesthetics, fitting for such an iconic character.
7) King Magnus Magneto
The final entry on this list is the King Magnus outfit for Magneto. This outfit sees Magneto dressed as Erik Magnus, the King of Genosha, a kingdom of mutants. The outfit perfectly encapsulates Magnus’ ascent to royalty by replacing the traditional battle armor with a more royal army general outfit. The outfit is clad with gold and black to signify Magnus’ stature and is capped off with rubies near his chest plate. This armor screams royalty and is one of the best in the game.
