Support Cards in Umamusume: Pretty Derby play a vital role in raising your trainee in Career Mode. They boost stat gain from training, improve mood, provide energy, and unlock various skills the trainee can learn using SP (Skill Points). While beginning each career run, players can add a friend’s Support Card to their deck of six. Doing so awards Friendship Points to the borrowed card’s owner. These points can be used in Friendship Exchange to purchase valuable resources and items.

Therefore, ensuring your best Support Card is available for borrowing can significantly boost your wealth through a steady stream of Friendship Points. Read through to understand what players are looking for most in a Support Card and change your offering accordingly.

The main trait players seek in guest Support Cards is their rarity. Other factors like skills, upcapped level, and training bonuses follow afterward. Therefore, make sure to always place an SSR Support Card in your profile rather than a highly upgraded SR card.

Head to Menu > Profile and scroll to the bottom to change the Support Card on offer. With that out of the way, here are the best SSR cards that you should be listing if you have them.

SSR Super Creek

SSR Super Creek is the most in-demand Support Card in the game. This is mainly because she offers the ‘Swinging Maestro’ skill that replenishes Stamina at a corner. Stamina-replenishing skills are useful for all distances and running styles, and ‘Swinging Maestro’ is the best one to get because of its ease of activation.

SSR Fine Motion

Having good Wit cards in your deck increases the energy recovered during Wit training, reducing the need to spend turns on resting. Fine Motion is the best Wit card to have because two of her chain events recover energy, and she has good skills on offer. Just like Super Creek, Fine Motion can be a part of any deck, making the card widely sought after.

SSR Tazuna Hayakawa

Tazuna Hayakawa does not train any particular skill, but greatly improves the trainee’s Energy economy. She reduces energy spent and lowers chances of failure while training a stat that her card is on. Additionally, upgrading the card provides more energy from her recovery events. Once again, the Support Card’s flexibility makes it a potential pick for any player’s deck.

Honorable Mentions

  • SSR Vodka: Several Speed and Stamina skills
  • SSR Special Week (Speed): Energy recovery events and Stamina skills
  • SSR Nishino Flower: Good passive and speed skills

If you don’t have any of the top three cards, the best course of action is to offer the highest level upcapped SSR card you have. Most SSR cards beyond level 2 uncapping become extremely desirable to borrow for players looking to shore up a gap in their build. Speed Support Cards are often favored, as most players include several in their deck.

Note: If you notice a significant decrease in Friendship Point income, check to see if you have reached your maximum number of followers. If so, purge some of the older followers who have not been active for some time to make space for new ones.
