Accessing the Laundry Room Specialty Services unlocks new operations and offers additional ways to launder your resources in Blue Prince.
The Laundry Room is one of the shop-type rooms in Blue Prince, represented by a golden yellow color. It generally allows you to launder your different forms of currency—swapping resources like Coins, Gems, and Keys. It is incredibly useful if you are in desperate need of a specific resource but rich in another resource.

How To Unlock the Laundry Room Specialty Services in Blue Prince
To unlock the Specialty Services at the Laundry Room, you need to direct the power to the room from a power source. In simple words, the Laundry Room must be powered up, which can be done in two ways.
- Solve the puzzle and power up the Boiler Room. Then direct the power to the Laundry Room, connecting rooms with a power vent.
- Alternatively, if you have upgraded your Aquarium to Electric Eel Aquarium, you can also direct the power from there.
Once you transfer power to the Laundry Room, you can access the Specialty Services by interacting with the Laundry machine on the left side.
What Does the Laundry Room Specialty Services Offer in Blue Prince?
The Specialty Services provide additional ways to launder your resources beyond the basic Coins, Gems, and Keys. It provides the following three new services:
- Shoe Shine: Exchange all of your Footsteps with all of your Gems at a 1:1 rate. It costs 5 Coins.
- Star Treatment: Exchange all of your remaining Stars with your Allowance permanently for the cost of 5 Coins.
- Die Cleaning: Exchange all of your Dice with all of your Keys at a 1:1 rate. It costs 5 Coins
The Shoe Treatment and Die Clearing services are situational, depending on what resources you have and need. However, the Star Treatment can be a game-changer as it permanently upgrades your Allowance, allowing you to start each day with more Coins.
