Enhancing your gear in Blue Protocol Star Resonance is a sure-cut way of improving its stats. To unlock gear enhancements, you will first need to visit Maxim at the Artisan Guild. Over here, you will receive some quests after which you will unlock the different enhancing methods. Obtaining materials is a crucial part of the process to begin. You can find them by exploring the world or by purchasing them from the shops. You could also choose to trade materials with other players using the ‘Trading Center.’

In this article, we will understand everything that has to do with Gear progression in Blue Protocol Star Resonance.

How To Enhance Gear in Blue Protocol Star Resonance

In Blue Protocol Star Resonance, there are three different methods, namely Reforging, Refinement, and Embed. There is one more option present in the mix called ‘Gear Dismantle’. With this, you can dismantle your existing gear to get some coins from it. The number of coins you get depends on the level of the gear you dismantle. Let us look at how each of these impacts the performance of your gear.

Gear Reforging

This method helps increase the quality of the gear. The maximum reforging varies between gears while also taking into consideration the rarity of the gear. Higher rarity gears will have a higher max threshold in comparison to lower-level ones. With every ‘Gear Reforging’ attempt, the perfection gauge will increase by a certain number. The higher the level, the more materials you will need.

Gear Reforging requires the material called ‘Reforge Stone’. Once you reforge a gear for the first time, an advanced attribute at random will be added to it. Post that, every subsequent reforge will replace the existing attribute with another. Once you reach max perfection, the perfection will halt in progression, but the attribute can still be shuffled.

Gear Refinement

With the help of the Refinement feature, you will permanently be able to upgrade the number of gear slots you have. This directly impacts the slots of your gear and not the gear itself. So if you were to ever change the gear you use, the upgraded slots would still be present. At levels 5, 10, 15, and 20, you will unlock refinement bonuses.

Depending upon the level of refinement you wish to do, you will need either fewer or more materials. You can locate the materials needed for Gear Refinement by either exploring, shopping, or trading with other players.

Gear Embed

With the Embed feature, you can attach a gem to every piece of gear you own. Depending upon the color of the gem, its level, and its type, you will obtain various beneficial attributes. With the help of ‘Gemcrafting,’ you can further craft your gems. With the gems you own, you can choose to either equip them, sell or trade with other players online within the ‘Trading Center’.

Do note that once you embed a gem in your armor, you will not be able to use it again. If you find another gem that would prove more advantageous in the gear, you can replace the embedded gem. So save your gems and only embed them if you know that you won’t need them for some other gear.
