The Songbird Glitch in Borderlands 4 allows you to trigger the weapon’s special effect, which grants +100% damage for 5 seconds after swapping guns, without actually switching weapons. To perform the exploit, begin swapping the Songbird Pistol during a reload, then cancel the action partway through and quickly switch back to the same gun.

That activates the damage buff without completing the weapon swap. By repeating this process rapidly, you can stack the effect and maintain high damage output throughout combat.

How To Execute the Songbird Glitch in Borderlands 4

From the name itself, it is clear that you will need the San Saba Songbird Legendary Pistol to perform this glitch. You can obtain this weapon by farming a specific boss named Rocken Roller, who is located at the Trinket Crevasse in the Abandoned Auger Mine, found in the Ruined Sumplands region within the Carcadia Burn area.

Once you have the prerequisite item, you are all set to perform the glitch by following the steps mentioned below:

  • First, remove two weapons from your loadout.
  • Next, equip the Songbird and shoot until you run out of bullets.
  • Afterward, you will see an animation where the character reloads the weapon. During the reload animation, quickly switch to another gear, then immediately re-equip the Songbird.
  • You can repeat this process as many times as you like to continue stacking the Songbird’s +100% damage buff. Finally, reload the Songbird Pistol, and you are all set to enjoy the lethal power.

That was all about the Songbird Glitch in Borderlands 4.
