There is a decent amount of mutations in this game, and Roblox players must put in work to submit the necessary requirements. Build a Zoo is all about making money, but there are ways to speed up the process. These are all the mutations in Build a Zoo, along with their benefits and requirements:

Mutation	Acquisition Process	Benefits
Diamond	You must buy Diamond Eggs from the conveyor belt for pets to get the mutation. Alternatively, head to the river to catch Diamond Eggs for free. Your final option is to feed your pets Pineapple for a slim chance of getting the mutation.	This can multiply your earnings by 3%.
Electric	Catch Electric Eggs from the river or buy them from the conveyor belt.	Your earnings will multiply by 5%.
Jurassic	Purchase Jurassic Eggs from the conveyor belt; however, you will need the Meteor Heaven item. If you don’t have it, you can test your luck and feed Volt Ginkgo to your pets for a slim chance.	Earnings will be multiplied by 12%.
Gold	This can be acquired by feeding a Pear to your pets if you don’t feel like fishing in the river or buying from the conveyor belt.	Multiplies your earnings by 2x.
Fire	Buy Fire Eggs or fish them from the river.	This mutation will multiply your earnings by 10%.
