Where Can You Find the Double Burn Pictos in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
There are a few options to pick up the Double Burn Pictos. The first method involves fighting the Gestral Merchant and having enough Chroma on your person. You can find this NPC at the Sacred River, and you must first challenge them to a duel to access their full inventory. Pick your strongest party member and beat the Gestral Merchant, then pay 89,800 Chroma.
Alternatively, you can pick up a level 20 variant at Visages. Expedition 33 has limited options to break the Paintress’ barrier, but the Curator can craft a weapon from the Axons. Visages is one of the Axons painted by Renoir and is meant to represent the real Verso. In the Anger Vale section, fight all the enemies around and pick up the Pictos right beside dead expeditioners.
You Can Stack Up Another Burn Status Effect With the Double Burn Pictos
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 has a few traditional turn-based RPG mechanics, like adding elemental ailments and status effects. You can burn enemies with this Pictos, and the benefit here is that you can stack another one immediately. The burn status will build twice as fast with this Pictos equipped.
