YouTuber Stephen “Coffeezilla” Findeisen called out Adam “Adam22” Grandmaison for engaging in a crypto “pump and dump” scheme. Coffeezilla alleged that he warned Adam22 about promoting a scam, but Adam didn’t listen.

Adam22 launched a new cryptocurrency called ADAM22COIN on February 18, 2025. Within 30 minutes of its launch, the prices skyrocketed by 200% before crashing by 99.9%. Coffeezilla alleged that this was a rug pull and that Adam had allegedly pre-planned it.

Rug pull scams in the crypto space involve hyping up cryptocurrencies to attract investors. As soon as the prices go up, the people behind the coins “pull the rug,” leaving the investors with worthless coins. The scam allegedly netted Adam over $1.5 million from selling the coins alone. Adam22 has not responded to the allegations so far.

Coffeezilla Calls Out Adam22’s Alleged ADAM22COIN Rug Pull

Coffeezilla posted a YouTube video alleging that Adam22 scammed his audience and deleted his tweets. The YouTuber also shared alleged conversations between himself and Adam22, where they talked about influencers scamming their audiences.

Adam22 admitted that he was paid to promote ADAM22COIN to his audience and that he had “no idea” about the project. He also acknowledged that his audience is not knowledgeable about crypto, which seemingly upset Coffeezilla over the alleged scam.

Coffeezilla called out Adam’s actions in a YouTube video. He said:

“Don’t any of these people care about their reputation? I thought Adam22 deeply cared about what people thought about him, I never thought he would humiliate himself like this.”

At the end of the video, the YouTuber warned internet users about falling for these scams. He asked people to exercise caution when investing in cryptocurrencies and to not fall for “get rich quick” schemes.

AltCoinGordon Details How Adam22 Executed the Rug Pull

Coffeezilla was not the only person who reported the alleged incident. Prominent crypto analyst AltCoinGordon shared details about the alleged rug pull. Gordon, who shares major happenings in the crypto space with over 700,000 followers on X, explained Adam22’s rug pull.

Gordon analyzed the cryptocurrency and found that the coin launched at $0.05, according to CoinMarketCap data. Within 30 minutes of its launch, the price went up by 200%. This coincided with a sudden trading volume hike, implying that one or more individuals sold the coins in bulk to profit from the price increase.

Many internet users flooded Adam22’s social media platforms with comments about the scam and are demanding a response. The influencer has not addressed the scam despite making multiple posts after the incident.
