An unknown individual confronted Ice Poseidon for being allegedly disrespectful to Japanese people and their culture.
Kick streamer Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino was livestreaming his trip to Japan on February 2, 2025, when an unnamed individual confronted him for allegedly disrespecting locals. Poseidon entered a Japanese restaurant and was filming his experience. The restaurant owners asked him to stop filming but the streamer did not comply.
A stranger walked out of the restaurant and told Denino that he was being disrespectful. The streamer told him he didn’t do anything wrong and added that he had the right to stream from the restaurant as there were no other customers.
This is not the first time Ice Poseidon had a controversial moment during his Japan stream. On February 19, 2025, multiple X accounts alleged that Japanese police escorted Poseidon out of his hotel room. The streamer had allegedly flashed his private parts to Japanese locals, prompting police action. Denino refuted recent allegations about his misdemeanors in Japan, claiming that there is an ongoing misinformation campaign against him.
Stranger Confronts Ice Poseidon for Allegedly Disrespecting Japanese Locals
A stranger approached Ice Poseidon during his livestream and asked him to be more respectful toward locals. Poseidon responded to the stranger:
“What did I do? What I do? Tell me? What did I do to p*ss someone off?”
The stranger responded:
“You come across as disrespectful…to Japanese people on your streams.”
The streamer responded:
“Okay so I was sitting in the corner of the restaurant. She (The restaurant owner) tells me to turn off the camera. There is not a single other person at the restaurant. What does it matter? What does it matter to you bro?”

The stranger tried to explain to Poseidon that he should have listened. However, the streamer cut him of and claimed he did nothing wrong and walked away.
Poseidon Had a Violent Breakdown During His Japan Trip
On February 15, 2025, Ice Poseidon broke down on stream over his relationship. His girlfriend allegedly confronted him for commenting on a woman’s breasts on stream. Ice Poseidon was seemingly upset by his girlfriend’s comments and screamed:
“I’m going to f*cking kill her! I’m going to f*ck her up! I can’t f*cking believe this! I don’t care, dude. I have glass in my hand, I don’t care, bro! I can’t f*cking take this anymore!”
The streamer punched his car’s windshield and broke it. He hurt his hand, and his friends intervened to ask if he was okay. Ice Poseidon walked out of the car, threw his camera away, and took a moment to recover from his outburst. He told his girlfriend on stream:
“If you wanna break up, I’ll break up with you. I need somebody who’s going to be with me through thick and thin, support my feelings while I’m out here working my a** off while you are sitting home and doing nothing.”
The streamer reconciled with his girlfriend later in the livestream, but his fans were concerned about his mental state. He apologized to his fans and said he genuinely loves his girlfriend.
