Delta Force is releasing globally for PC users in Open Beta on the 5th of December, 2024. The game will be free-to-play at launch and is sticking to this free-access model for its Open Beta as well. If you are planning to test it out, this week would be a good time to do so.

The game won’t be empty with the onset of this Early Access. In fact, players will be able to switch between two modes and several maps to keep things interesting and fresh until the full release date comes around in the first quarter of 2025.

The developers are expected to add some more modes and maps when the game is finally released, but as of now, they are rather limited. Only PC players can access these because the Open Beta is not for consoles and Android yet.

There are mainly two modes that players must look forward to. These are Operations and Warfare. They may be further divided into sub-modes to bring more variety to the gameplay loop, but that is yet to be confirmed when the Early Access drops. So far, we have confirmed one Operation mode called Raid and one Havoc Warfare. Another gameplay mode called Black Hawk Down is yet to be introduced.

Operations is all about jumping into an extraction shooter. Players must plunder and strategize their way to victory. On the other hand, the Warfare mode will let you enjoy the classic Delta Force experience in large-scale multiplayer combat maps.

The maps in the game are centered around the modes themselves. To our knowledge, players may not be able to mix and match these modes and maps, as is seen in some popular FPS games like Call of Duty.

First and foremost, the Operations mode will give you access to multiple new maps. These will be: Zero Dam, Space City, Leyali Grove, Brakkesh, Valkyr, Rattlesnake, and Tower of Babel.

As for those who will be busy playing Warfare, they will instead experience the giant maps of Ascension and Cracked.

Now that Early Access is releasing in December, the developers could add some more modes and maps for players to enjoy and provide feedback for. And when the full release finally drops, we expect some new additions then as well.

But this is still a little far away in the future. Until then, be patient for the release if you are not playing the PC Open Beta for Delta Force.
