Disabling crossplay in Delta Force might help you enjoy the matchmaking experience more. The game finally made its way over to consoles on August 18, 2025, which is also when crossplay was introduced into the game. With it active, you can dive into a session with players from across platforms seamlessly.
However, not everyone enjoys the crossplay functionality. For instance, players on PC might not like matches with players on console, since the former have to play using a mouse and keyboard. So, in the following guide, we’ll explore how you can turn off the crossplay feature in the game if you want.
Disabling Crossplay in Delta Force: How To Do It
Crossplay in the game allows you to queue up with players from other platforms. So, if you are on an Xbox console and want to play with PC players, you’ll need to keep crossplay on. However, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. So, you can turn it off if you please. Here are the steps you have to follow to turn on crossplay in the game.
- Step 1: From the game’s main menu screen, select the gear icon (settings) on the top right corner. On consoles, you can press the Options or Menu buttons to open it quickly.
- Step 2: Now, under settings, you will need to head to the Gameplay Tab. There, you should be able to spot the Crossplay option.
- Step 3: If it’s turned on, toggle this setting off to turn off crossplay in the game.
Later on, if you want to reactivate crossplay again, you can do that by heading to this same option within the Settings menu.

Reasons for Disabling Crossplay in Delta Force
Delta Force was released on consoles much later than it was on PC. So, with crossplay active, new console players might have to face off against veteran PC players. Players on PC had months to polish their skills in the game, while newbies on consoles simply lack the experience to attain the same quality.
So, it makes sense for console players to turn off crossplay for the time being, until they can familiarize themselves with the game’s mechanics and attain a similar expertise as their PC counterparts.
