Diablo 4 veterans might already be aware of the Mother’s Blessing event that Blizzard runs periodically. Generally, the event tends to take place somewhere in between the game’s seasonal cycles. It is a great way to break the monotony that players might experience after going through the seasonal content for a few months.

For the unawares, Mother’s Blessing is a week-long event that boosts players’ XP and gold gains during that week. You can often get other bonuses during this period too. While the event has run several times in the past, you should know about the details of the current Mother’s Blessing event in Diablo 4.

The event is currently underway and will remain active until August 12, 2025. The exact time for the event closure is 10 a.m. PT on that day. This cycle of the event began as soon as the March of the Goblins event ended. In that event, players could track down Treasure Goblins in a bid to progress toward unlocking valuable rewards. One of those rewards also included a coveted Resplendent Spark. Starting the Mother’s Blessing event right after means that now Diablo 4 players will have even more to do in the game.

What Bonuses Does the Mother’s Blessing Event Add?

Until its conclusion, the event will boost how many experience points and gold you gain in the game. Enemy gold drops will increase by 50%, while you will earn 35% more XP by completing various activities. These bonuses are applicable to both Realms and World Tiers. So, you can take advantage of the added XP and gold for both your Seasonal and Eternal characters.

Besides these benefits, previous iterations of the event also included an additional bonus. Every time you returned a Grim Favor to the Tree of Whispers, you would get an added cache as a reward. However, we cannot confirm whether this specific bonus is applicable during the ongoing Mother’s Blessing event too.

This event and the March of the Goblins event before it were good ways to keep the Diablo 4 community hooked. However, do not expect any further major updates to the game soon. Blizzard has confirmed that Season 10 will launch sometime during September. So, until then, you will have to experience the content that is already available in the game.
