Baldur’s Gate 3 offers many races and classes to pick from to create your own protagonist and experience a well-written narrative, explore the open world and master turn-based combat. With all the game has to offer, one of its biggest advantages is the ability to experience the epic story and explore the world with friends or family in multiplayer mode.

Split-Screen Co-op

Baldur’s Gate 3 will have a split-screen Co-op, where players use the same monitor and device to play together in local multiplayer mode. The game is currently in early access and only has online and LAN multiplayer. Regardless, Larian Studios confirmed that the couch co-op would be available at full release on August 31st 2023.

However, online multiplayer and Split-Screen Co-op have some key differences. You can team up with up to three other players in cooperative mode, whereas couch co-op will be limited to two players and require multiple controllers connected to the same device. Additionally, it would be best to consider your console’s or PC’s parameters when playing split screen because it’ll be more demanding.
