600W for RTX 5090

The reason for that was that it was unbelievable that a 2 Slot card like the RTX 5090 would consume 600 Watts. Meanwhile the 3-4 Slot card RTX 4090 runs at a lower wattage. A different user pointed out how they were excited to know how Nvidia was able to achieve such a feat.

Another Reddit user felt that it was concerning how there was a lack of ‘real performance’ comparisons and actual demonstrations to show how the RTX 5070 was able to produce the same performance as the RTX 4090. This user pointed out that the RTX 5090 sported a slanted power connector rather than the traditional one.
