Arc System Works’ upcoming title, Double Dragon Revive, finally has a confirmed release date. Much like Arc System Works’ recent few releases, Double Dragon Revive is a remaster of the classic beat-em-up’ arcade game. Although the game is a remaster, it does come with plenty of new elements as well as playable characters from the series’ previous few titles.
The game also features plenty of gameplay-related upgrades, like modern controls for newcomers to the arcade fighters, as well as other tweaks. While the game was announced a while back, pre-orders for it went live quite recently, courtesy of The Game Awards 2024.

All Double Dragon Revive Editions
Despite its release date announcement, Double Dragon Revive is still months away from its official launch. Arc System Works’ upcoming title is scheduled to be released on October 23, 2025. Surprisingly enough, the upcoming Double Dragon is a cross-generation title. This means the game is scheduled to be released on current-gen (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S) and also previous-gen (PS4 and Xbox One) consoles. Furthermore, much like Arc System Works’ previous arcade fighters, Double Dragon Revive is also releasing on Steam. Much like any other modern Triple or Double-A title, Double Dragon Revie is offered in multiple editions.

The Standard Edition, which is priced at $34.99 and includes the base game, and the pre-order bonus. Whereas, the more expensive Deluxe Edition is priced at $49.99 and comes bundled with a few extra in-game bonuses, alongside the contents of the Standard Edition. Does Double Dragon Revive Have Early Access?
Double Dragon Revive does offer early access as part of the pre-order incentive. If you pre-order the game ahead of its October 2025 release date, you can play the game 24 hours early. Do note that the 24-hour early access applies to both Standard and Deluxe Edition pre-orders of the game. Furthermore, the other pre-order bonus, Double Dragon Dodge Ball, is also applicable to all editions of the game. It should be noted that the Double Dragon Dodge Ball is an application separate from the base game.
