Hip-hop mega-star Drake appeared visibly upset when Adin Ross read a chat message referring to him as “unc.”
Hip-hop star Aubrey ‘Drake’ teamed up with Kick star Adin Ross for the “Drizzmas” event on Drake’s Kick channel. The event was dubbed as the biggest giveaway livestream, featuring prizes like a free vacation, cars, and much more. During the stream, Adin read a message asking Drake, “Where’s the album, unc?” to which the rapper got seemingly upset and passed remarks at Adin. For those unaware, ‘Unc’ is a shorter version of uncle. The word is usually used in the online community to refer to old people.
While streaming, the duo were reading fan mail and chat messages addressed to them. During this interaction, Adin Ross was reading the chat when the message popped up. Reading the message, Adin stated:
“Someone said where’s the album, unc? Where is your album?”
To which Drake, who seemed upset, responded:
“First of all f**k you.”
Adin got confused as to whether the rapper said it to him, asking if Drake said it to him or the chatter. However, Drake responded to the streamer, stating:
“I don’t know both of y’all.”
The situation quickly diffused when Adin Ross stepped away to grab drinks for both of them. Drake soon calmed down and went on to explain the drink to Adin. The stream currently boasts over 150,000 concurrent live viewers. Additionally, Adin Ross has announced his comeback stream for the following week, potentially as a New Year’s special.
