Twitch was called out by netizens after promoting the Sis-a-thon livestreaming marathon featuring Cinna and Valkyrae.
Popular live streamers Brittany “Cinna” and Rachel “Valkyrae” have been streaming their “Sis-a-thon” livestream for a week. The stream featured a guest appearance by Pokimane on March 1, 2025. After Twitch promoted the livestream on X, the livestreaming platform was under fire. Netizens called out the difference of content in Kai Cenat’s streaming marathons and the Sis-a-thon. A critic stated that the stream had the “lowest effort of content creation” on display. Meanwhile, another critic stated that the “e-girl” streamers were a burden on the economy:

The “Sis-a-Thon” has been a popular event featuring multiple guest appearances from streamers, including Ludwig, Jasontheween, and other FaZe members. For the uninitiated, the streaming marathon features Valkyrae and Cinna, who have been streaming for a week straight. The stream has featured multiple content segments, including a military boot camp. Both Brittany and Rachel boast a massive following on Twitch, with 582K and 1.4M followers, respectively. YouTuber Endymion called out Twitch, stating their promotion of the marathon and the interactions were “abysmal.”
“Lowest effort content creation imaginable on display here. And Twitch is promoting it too & the interactions are abysmal.”
Some other comments focused on what the interesting part of the stream was for Twitch to promote it, as they stated:

Meanwhile, some comments criticized Pokimane’s appearance on the stream:

Cinna Claps Back at the Critics Following Sis-a-thon Criticism
Following the criticism, Cinna clapped back at a critic. The streamer stated that Kai has production teams, while she planned and built the set herself. Brittany stated that she and Valkyrae had several segments where they engaged in a variety of content, including a military boot camp and a cooking segment. Cinna stated that each segment was tailored to encourage positivity in women creators. The streamer also stated that they collaborated with some of the biggest male creators on the platform.
Cinna called out the critic, stating that she and Valkyrae were the first female duo to stream a marathon on the platform.

Some netizens posted other “low content moments” where the streamers sat down for just chatting. Cinna called out the viewers and stated that they “can’t be helped.”

Meanwhile, several streamers praised Cinna for her stance and also praised the Sis-a-thon.
