In this guide, we explain how you can get your hands on some Fire weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign and why they are important.

In Elden Ring Nightreign, you will get access to 31 different types of weapons. It’s up to you to choose which of them works best for you. However, weapons also have elemental damage types associated with them, making them even more useful when you’re trying to exploit an enemy’s weakness. Fire is one of the elements that some weapons might have, and there are several Nightlords that are weak against fire. In such instances, arming yourself with fire weapons can make these boss fights far simpler.
In this guide, we’ll explore where you can pick up some of the fire weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign. We’ll also dive into a couple of bosses against whom these weapons prove highly useful.
How To Find Fire Weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign

As you might know already, the weapons and items you find while exploring Limveld are completely randomized. So, you might find a particular sword in a dungeon on your first playthrough and never come across it the next time around. It’s impossible to say with certainty where on your map you’ll discover fire weapons. However, the game makes it easier for you to know where to look. When you open up the semi-open world map of Limveld, you’ll spot a variety of map markers and icons.
In some areas of the map, you’ll discover an icon of a burning sword. These are the locations you’ll want to visit if you’re looking for fire-element weapons. Any weapon you pick up from within this marked area, whether it’s a drop from a boss or found inside a chest, will be a fire weapon.
The game also features a wide range of legendary fire weapons. These will have the fire element regardless of where you pick them up. The following are the fire-type legendary weapons:
- Blasphemous Blade
- Giant Red Braid
- Devourer’s Scepter
- Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear
- Grafted Dragon
- Sword of Night and Flame
If you still fail to locate any fire weapons, keep in mind that there are other ways to deal fire damage to enemies. You can do so with the help of consumable items, such as Fire Bombs. You can also use Fire Grease to coat your weapon and allow it to deal fire damage temporarily. Certain relics can also imbue your build with fire damage.

Why Are Fire Weapons Important in Elden Ring Nightreign?

Some early-game bosses, such as Gnoster and Caligo, are weak to fire-based attacks. So, having a fire weapon handy at these times can be extremely useful. With Gnoster, you can actually deal higher damage with fire weapons and also stun the Scorpion end of the boss briefly during the initial stage of the battle. This will enable you to focus solely on the Moth end. During the second stage of the battle, the fire weapon can sometimes set the Moth end aflame. This causes damage over time and eats away at chunks of its health.
The icy dragon boss, Caligo, also takes considerably more damage when you attack it with fire weapons. So, you can end the fight a lot quicker when you have such weapons handy.
