While obtaining a Stonesword Key is relatively rare, there are several reliable ways. The first and most effective way is to loot the chests scattered across the world. Stonesword Keys have a high chance of appearing inside fancy and metallic chests rather than normal wooden chests. You can find these metal chests in places like Churches and Forts. You can also purchase them from merchants scattered across the world by spending the Runes. Additionally, Relics like the Grand Burning Scene allow you to carry a Stonesword Key with you from the start of an expedition.

How To Use Stonesword Keys in Elden Ring Nightreign

After acquiring a Stonesword Key, you must find an Evergaol to use it. These locations are marked on the map by grey circles, allowing you to easily identify them. Each Evergaol has an Imp statue, located at the edge of the circle. Interact with the Imp statue to use the Stonesword Key. Upon activation, the Stonesword Key will be consumed, and a mini-boss will be summoned to your location. Defeating the boss rewards with valuable rewards, including a hefty amount of Runes. You need multiple Stonesword Keys to open more Evergaols in the Limveld.
