Twitch streamer and OTK member ExtraEmily is under fire for allegedly using a racial slur on stream while on a call with streamer Russel.
Popular streamer ExtraEmily went viral on social media after she allegedly used the n-word on stream. The streamer was talking with fellow OTK member Russel and seemingly said “Nicholas.” However, the word sounded similar to the racial word to several users on social media. Emily was asking Russel which three streamers will he never stream with again. To which, Russel stated that he will never stream with ExtraEmily, which visibly surprised Emily.
ExtraEmily is a popular streamer on Twitch with over 465K followers. The streamer joined OTK in February 2023 and has been a significant member of the organization.
Emily was embroiled in another controversy in January 2025 after mishandling a weapon on stream. She also went viral in December 2024, when the streamer stated she wouldn’t pay her parents back for the college fees they provided. The streamer faced significant backlash during both her controversies. Several fans also pointed out her alleged use of the racial slur during Black History month.

ExtraEmily Responds to the Backlash
After the video went viral on social media, several netizens accused the streamer of racism. However, Emily responded to the backlash and stated that she cannot keep her silence anymore. Emily claimed that she called Russel the wrong name and said, “Nick, uh.” Emily reiterated that she can never say the racial slur in her life.

The original post on X, posted by user @yoxics, has gained over 24.7 million views as of this writing. Several streamers, including Valkyrae and Cinna, commented on the situation, supporting Emily. Russel, who ExtraEmily was on call with, also stated that he did not hear the word. The OTK member replied to the clip, stating:
“There’s no way people are believing that Emily slipped up. I’ve NEVER heard Emily say that word and we’re a very good friends nor would I tolerate my friends calling me that. I thought it was funny seeing this clip blow up so I didn’t say much but it’s crazy that people actually believe this garbage. She clearly almost called me “nick” Which is another friend of hers who was in the bathroom at the time of this clip. I didn’t “flinch” because I knew she didn’t and wouldn’t say that word.”
