The Swolean Island section of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Chapter 6 (The Island of Trials) begins following your return from the Depths to Eternia Village. You learn that a tournament is being held on Swolean Island with a legendary sword as the reward. The weapon might be exactly what you need to take down the Guardian Hagram in the Depths.

Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time Chapter 6: Go to the Colosseum
As you land on Swolean Island, a Colosseum looms ahead, with a lot of commotion inside. Head to the main entrance, and a cutscene will play showcasing your main opponent in the tournament, the undefeated Frajeel. You can purchase better equipment in the surrounding shops and make combat upgrades before entering the tournament.
Once you begin the tournament, you must win three rounds or lose before you can exit the Colosseum. Move to the structure’s entrance and speak with Ventry to start the tournament.
Enter the Tournament
Your first fight is against the Cornella Corps. Since your Buddies join you for the round, the three level 35 Cornella enemies should be defeated pretty easily by chaining regular and charge attacks. In the second round, you will be fighting the Golem Brothers, consisting of a level 40 Sand Golem and an Iron Golem.
The golems have slow attacks, which you can avoid while counterattacking with charged moves. For the third round, the Shadow Bringers challenge you. The three level 40 Shadow Spookies can be vanquished easily with persistent attacks. In case you have trouble beating all three rounds, try leveling up your Combat Life and upgrading weapons before giving it another shot.
Your match against the reigning champion, Frajeel, will take place on the following day. For now, you have secured first place in the tournament and are rewarded with the Dragonslayer’s Sword. However, the sword turns out to be a Strangeling, Glenn.
He reveals that he transformed into the sword after his loss against Frajeel, and you must defeat the champion to earn the Greatsword of Time. This part of the quest will end here, and ‘Help Glenn Return to Normal’ will begin.
