If you are starting the Depths B4 level in Chapter 7 of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time and don’t know what to do, follow this guide.
In Chapter 7 of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, named “Crack the Cog, Free Our Future,” players will be venturing into the Depths B4, and it will end with destroying the Cog of Time. However, in this guide, we will discuss the Depths B4 segment primarily.
The previous chapter began with players going to B3, and it eventually led to a confrontation with the Guardian Hagram. This time, you will go deeper into the depths. Also, the Cog of Time as well as the Dark Dragon will reveal themselves for the first time.
This particular segment works as an introduction to the entire chapter and gives the players a faint taste of what is about to come. Since this is the very beginning of this chapter, evidently, there isn’t much to do in it. However, it is still a crucial part that will help you find your way to the Mysteria Castle and meet Rem again.
Entering Depths B4 in Chapter 7 of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
After you defeat the Guardian Hagram in the previous chapter, your primary objective will change to “Delve deeper into the Depths.” Since at this point, you will be in B3, naturally, going even deeper would lead you to the new depths of B4 in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Chapter 7.
Once you beat all the small enemies that come after the Guardian Hagram and enter the Depths of B4. A cutscene will trigger instantly, and you will see the Dark Dragon for the very first time in the game. Fortunately, it will be sleeping peacefully in the middle of the room and won’t be a threat to you just yet.
The Dragon will be resting close to the Cog of Time itself. Which would compel Edward to remark that they have finally discovered the island’s hidden secret. If you already don’t know, the Cog of Time, as described by Edward himself, is a cursed weapon that is capable of destroying the entire world, including Ginormosia.

You will then get interrupted by Carla appearing out of thin air. She will then proceed to lift the Cog of Time as well as the Dark Dragon out of the depths and into the air. After that, Rem will ask you to visit her world. More specifically, visit her at the Mysteria Castle. Once the cutscene is over and you are ready, approach Skelegon and take a ride with him to the Capital.
