Here we will be discussing 5 key characters you meet during Chapter 1 in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.

Fantasy Life i has a lot of diverse and unique characters, each playing a fundamental role in developing our protagonist’s character as well as journey. From the get-go, a few of these characters shine a beacon of light, helping us understand this new world.
They guide us with a set of tutorials and get us ready to delve into this new fantasy world. In this article, we will be looking at some of the key characters in Chapter 1 of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
5 Key Characters From Chapter 1 in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time

1. Lady Rem
Rem is the first character you meet in chapter 1 of Fantasy Life i. Her dynamic entrance involves a chase sequence where she is being followed by a bunch of rogue, lizard-like enemies. This is also where we get our first tutorial on how to engage in combat.
After successfully defending her, she starts understanding our story and filling in her own details to try and link and match. Lady Rem then has to immediately leave as she is being chased by some guards. You will meet her again, and she proves to be an invaluable member of your journey.
2. King Ranoah

On our expedition, we finally spot our bone dragon, who is being guarded by some guards. Upon approaching, the guards mention that we can go meet the king of the region. King Ranoah introduces himself as the King of Mysteria and is another key character in chapter 1.
He refuses to give back the dragon immediately, as it could be dangerous. Lady Rem returns, and it is revealed that the two are siblings. This is where the concept of ‘Life’ is first introduced. Ranoah asks us to get a ‘Life’ and preferably the ‘Fledgling.’ He also asks for us to be taken to the Guild office.
3. Auntie Anne

Anne is the guild master and acts as the guide for Life. She gives us a brief tutorial on how the guild works. Anna asks if you know about Life, which, on answering with ‘no,’ is explained in much more detail. She gives us a history lesson on the same, after which she describes the three categories of life that we can choose from, including Fighting, Crafting, and Gathering. You can choose whichever you like to avoid being an ‘Imp.’ Once chosen, you get your official license as well as the gear for it.
4. Bone Dragon

The Bone Dragon may just be one of the most important characters from chapter 1 and in the game. It is with the help of this dragon that we can travel through time and places. Our journey on this land begins when our dragon flies through a gate that randomly appears in the sky.
With the help of the Bone-dragon, you will be able to fast-travel across locations to save a lot of valuable traveling time. The dragon is chained by Aunt Annie due to the destruction it causes, and we are forced to pay up 10,000 dosh if we want to free it. Once done, the bone dragon will unlock for use.
5. Edward

He is a prominent character from chapter 1 around whom the entire story revolves. Both you and Trip are on a journey to try and find Edward and rescue him. During this adventure, you land in the capital of Mysteria and meet everyone else. A short and emotional backstory plays during the middle of the chapter, where we get a gist of why he is so important and how much he means to Trip, who throughout the chapter is shown to be restless in this hunt. Edward’s life revolves around dreams, adventures, and fantasy, which were also the first words he taught Trip.
