Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan member Lacy was banned for several minutes after his streams showed explicit images.
On January 4, 2025, FaZe Clan’s Nick “Lacy” was temporarily banned from Twitch. Viewers spotted explicit images on his livestream and reported his account leading to the ban. Shortly after the ban, the streamer made social media posts claiming that his account was hacked.
Fellow FaZe Clan member Jason “Jasontheween” reportedly called Twitch CEO Dan Clancy to explain the situation. Twitch staff took action within minutes and restored Lacy’s account. The VOD with explicit images on the stream is no longer available.
Lacy apologized to his viewers in a social media post, addressing those who saw the “disgusting stuff” on his channel. After his account was restored, Lacy resumed his stream with Jasontheween.
Lacy’s Twitch Account Was Hacked
On January 4, 2025, Lacy was streaming with Jasontheween. The two streamers planned to try “carne asada” together, which is an Italian beef dish. A few hours into the livestream, Lacy’s livestream started airing p*rn and rac*st imagery. Twitch quickly took down the stream and issued a ban. Shortly after the ban, the streamer posted on X, saying:
“I am hacked, I have no access to my account and can’t end my stream. Working on it now sorry for anyone who is seeing this disgusting stuff”
After Jasontheween helped Lacy get his account back, FaZe member Alexander “Adapt” Hamilton Prynkiewicz told Jason,
“You got a direct line to the CEO? Oh, wait. That is crazy! So, he’ll be free? You put in a word with the boss. Wow!”
Lacy returned to streaming with other FaZe members, but his 365-day subathon, which he started on January 1, 2025, has now ended.
FaZe Member’s Recent Twitch Subathon Controversy Explained
FaZe content creator Lacy attempted a subathon on December 15, 2024 that ended in just 15 minutes. After seeing his subathon timer tick down, the streamer said:
“Everybody gift me subs, come on. Why aren’t you guys f*cking gifting? Why aren’t you guys f*cking gifting? My subathon’s gonna end. Why aren’t you guys f*cking gifting? No. Gift me subs, please.”
After the timer ran out, he abruptly closed the stream. His chat criticized him for hosting a subathon where each sub added one second to the counter. After feedback, Lacy announced a 365-day subathon until January 1, 2025. He said that he would stream until the end of the year with each subscriber adding one minute to the timer.
The streamer started strong with a 28-hour timer but he stopped getting subscribers after the first day. After ending the stream, he removed all mention of the subathon from his social media.
