FaZe Clan’s Jasontheween stopped content creator NourGxd from joining his Minecraft server as he is underage.
Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan member Jason “Jasontheween” Nguyen denied 15-year-old content creator “NourGxd” entry to his Minecraft server. NourGxd was recently involved in controversy after podcaster Livingston Allen, aka “DJ Akademiks,” made inappropriate advances to NourGxd.
Internet users were upset with Akademiks’ comments and wanted platforms to take action. Multiple FaZe Clan creators, like Jasontheween and Maxwell “Plaqueboymax” Elliot Dent, also called out Akademiks.
The internet showed Nour support amidst the controversy, and the 15-year-old was interested in joining Jason’s Minecraft server. Jason talked to Nour and said the server is for adults only.
Jasontheween Declines NourGxd’s Request to His Minecraft Server
After DJ Akademiks’ inappropriate interactions with NourGxd went viral, the 15-year-old streamer also went viral. Many content creators showed support and offered their audience advice on how to deal with such situations. Jasontheween reached out to Nour and said:
“You know what. You’ve been through so much…I’ve seen this sh*t on Twitter with you and Akademiks and all that other sh*t. It’s just…I feel like Minecraft too, it’s not even that crazy. No, you can’t get on our server. It’s 18 plus I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”

Plaqueboymax didn’t interact with Nour but told younger audience members to stay safe. He urged them to avoid any inappropriate conversations with adults on platforms like Discord. With over 593,000 followers on Twitch, Akademiks is one of the biggest podcasters on the platform. Internet users have called out Twitch for not banning him amidst the controversy.
DJ Akademiks Controversy Explained
Akademiks was talking to NourGxd during a livestream on January 23, 2024. He asked the 15-year-old:
“If Max (Plaqueboymax) said he wanted to try, try f*cking a dude, will you let him f*ck you?”
Nour said “no”. Akademiks then asked:
“Yo, suppose he’s like your bro. Listen, you, you always wanted me to be next to you. Now, I could be inside of you.”

Nour told Akademiks that he is 15 years old multiple times on stream to stop the conversation. However, Akademiks kept making advances and asking sexual questions to the minor. The interaction went viral, prompting content creators to call out Akademiks. YouTuber Scru Face Jean, who has over 1.28 million subscribers on the platform, said he was shocked. He couldn’t believe that the interaction was real and asked if it was artificial intelligence (AI). Nour responded to Scu, saying:
“It is real I seen your video too, I know who they are in the call I was wondering if we can go discord this was truly uncomfortable unnecessary and disgusting.”
Several content creators, including Jasontheween, Plaqueboymax, and Scru, publicly condemned Akademiks’ actions during their streams. Meanwhile, Akademiks has yet to address the controversy, leading to accusations that he is deliberately avoiding the issue.
