How To Find Crimson Cavern in Fisch
Prepare for the Journey
Before heading out, make sure you’re properly equipped. These items will make the route much easier:
- Super Flippers to swim faster.
- Water Bubble to extend your underwater breathing.
- Fairy Lantern or Ultra Bright Lantern to light dark passages.
- Use performance mode, high brightness, and higher saturation for visibility.
Access the Luminescent Caverns
The Crimson Cavern is locked behind the Luminescent Caverns. To reach it:
- Travel to Desolate Deep.
- Locate the three pedestals in the main area, each requiring a keystone.
- Collect the three keystones assigned to you (out of nine possible).
- Place each keystone in its matching pedestal.
- A crack in the wall will open, leading to the Mysterious River.
Follow the river by raft or swimming to reach the Luminescent Caverns.

Complete the Mutated Dragon Quest
Inside the Luminescent Caverns, look for the NPC with the quest “A Mutated Dragon.”
- The quest requires capturing a Crimson Mutated Colossal Blue Dragon.
- This dragon spawns during a hunt event inside the Caverns, often near the entry area.
- Catch it like any rare fish.
- Deliver the dragon to the NPC to complete the quest.
- Completing it unlocks the Crimson Cavern entrance.

Once inside, you’ll discover:
- New NPCs and quests (one requires collecting eight crystals).
- Rare fish and unique loot opportunities.
- Access to the legendary rod, the Ruinous Oath.
