How To Craft the Riptide Rod in Fisch?
To craft the Riptide Rod, you need to visit the Ancient Archives in the Ancient Isles. The first requirement is to reach Level 200 in the game to unlock the recipe. Once you’ve achieved this, gather the following materials:
- 3x Ruby: Obtain these from the meteor crash site in the Ancient Isles by collecting Fisch gemstones or using a Meteor Totem to summon a meteor manually.
- 3x Atlantean Driftwood: Catch this using the Trident Rod. You can fish in the Sunstone Cave on Sunstone Island (coordinates: -1215, 195, -1040) and use garbage bait for quicker collection.
- 1x Magic Thread: This can be caught easily while fishing in any region and is found alongside a fish.
After collecting the materials, head to the Ancient Isles, which are located east of Moosewood. Access the Ancient Archives by entering the pit behind the waterfall at coordinates: 5833, 125, 401. Purchasing a GPS from Moosewood can help you locate these areas.
Once inside the Ancient Archives, cross the bridge using the Glider and continue straight to the crafting area at the end of the path. Interact with the stone anvil, select the Riptide Rod in the catalog, submit the materials, and pay 40,000 cash to craft the Riptide Rod.

Riptide Rod Stats in Fisch
While the Riptide Rod requires significant time and resources to craft, its stats are somewhat underwhelming. Here are the stats for the Riptide Rod:
- Max Kg: 3500kg
- Lure Speed: 20%
- Luck: 25%
- Control: 0.05
- Resilience: 5%
The Riptide Rod features a Tide Meter UI that fills by 20% with each Perfect Cast. After five Perfect Casts, your next three casts will receive a 30% boost in Luck and a 25% boost in Lure Speed.
Given its mediocre base stats and passives, it might be wise to avoid using valuable enchant relics on the Riptide Rod. If you still wish to use it, you can consider applying the Hasty or Resilience enchantment. You should avoid using Exalted relics, as better rods may become available in future updates.
